Fibroblast Growth Factor 2 (FGF2)FGF2 stem cell growth factors are key for the growth of human pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and numerous other cell types. Other FGF2 applications include fibroblast growth, wound healing, and cancer. Any FGF2 dependent cell line can benefit from our controlled-release FGF2 products. |
Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)EGF supports neural stem cell growth and retina pigment epithelial (RPE) cell growth. Any EGF dependent cell line can benefit from our controlled-release EGF products. |
Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF)BDNF stem cell growth factors are often used to support 2D neuronal cultures and 3D brain organoid growth. Any BDNF dependent cell line can benefit from this product. We currently have BDNF available as StemBeads and are developing BDNF DISCs for 2D and 3D brain organoid growth. |
Glial Derived Neurotrophic Factor (GDNF)GDNF stem cell growth factors support several types of neurons. Often used to support 2D cultures and 3D brain organoid growth. Any GDNF dependent cell line can benefit from our controlled-release GDNF products. We currently have GDNF available as StemBeads and are developing GDNF DISCs for 2D cultures and 3D brain organoid growth. |
Activin AActivin A stem supports human pluripotent stem cell growth and differentiation into endoderm. Any Activin A dependent cell line would benefit from our controlled-release Activin A products. |

StemBeads are a revolutionary controlled-release technology. The StemBeads product is currently used for improved cell culture in more than 100 scientific laboratories globally. DISC Devices are biocompatible and non-degradable hydrogels that contain StemBeads®. Information about why DISC™ Devices can improve your cell culture work, visual instructions, and general product information can be seen in this video.
Wound healing is a complex process which depends on the presence of various types of cells, GFs, cytokines and the elements of extracellular matrix. A wound is a portal of entry for numerous pathogens, therefore during the evolution wound healing process has formed very early, being critical for the survival of every individual. Stem cells, which give rise to their early descendants progenitor cells and subsequently differentiated cells, play a specific role in the process of wound healing. Among the most important cells which take part in wound healing the following cells need to be distinguished: epidermal stem cells, dermal precursor of fibroblasts, adipose-derived stem cells as well as bone marrow cells. The activity of these cells is strictly regulated by
