In partnership with the Neural Stem Cell Institute (NSCI) headed by Dr. Sally Temple, a pioneer contributing to the discovery of stem cells in the brain, StemCultures presents StemBeads® and DISC™ Devices. Decades of research at NSCI and SCL resulted in a solution to the challenge that growth factor lability presents to control of the cell culture environment. StemBeads® and DISC™ Devices were born out of scientific necessity to more effectively control growth factor signaling in cell cultures.

Our proprietary micro-encapsulation technology controls growth factor levels over time to more closely mimic the native biologic niche by minimizing signaling peaks and valleys experienced with conventional soluble growth factors.
