NextGen Stem Cell Conference: The Stem Cell Conference for Young Investigators

Stem Cell PCR Strip SC Post-1

Saratoga National Golf ClubDue to the success of our first conference last year, we are holding another informative, fun, and intimate event this year. Our second annual NextGen Stem Cell Conference will be held again at the beautiful Saratoga National Golf Club in the historic Saratoga Springs, New York on May 7th and 8th.  This conference is a great way for young professional scientists to network with other young investigators, students, post-docs and senior scientists. The NextGen Stem Cell Conference also provides junior investigators a chance to lead and inspire others with their research.

Register Now – Early Bird Rates Expire 3-10-14

We currently have more than 10 speakers from different well-known institutions like Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Neural Stem Cell Institute, Harvard Stem Cell Institute, Yale and other universities.  These speakers have been published in Stem Cells, Nature, Genes Development, among others. Topics to be covered include:

  • Embryonic stem cell maintenance and differentiation
  • iPSC generation
  • Neural stem cells
  • Haematopoietic stem cells
  • Epigenetics and stem cells
  • An artist’s approach to data presentation
  • Utilization of stem cell core facilities

There will be poster presentations as well aside from the sessions wherein you can get one-on-one interaction with the authors.

Finally, one of our featured speakers, Jason Salavon, will be presenting An Artist’s Approach to Data Presentation. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Visual Arts and the Computation Institute at the University of Chicago. His work has been shown in museums and galleries around the world. This would be an exciting opportunity to see how our data can be presented in an artistic point of view.

As for the fun part, as I’ve mentioned before, this event will be held in Saratoga National Golf Club. Ranked one of the top golf courses by Golf Digest and Golfweek magazines, Saratoga National Golf Club offers a world-class golf and dining experience. Not only will the participants learn and get educated on the latest stem cell topics, but they can also participate in special golf and social activities. We have arranged discounted tee times for those who want to play 9 or 18 holes. The session on Thursday will end early to allow the participants to enjoy the vibrant downtown with hundreds of restaurants, specialty shops and galleries. And for those horse-racing fans, Saratoga Race Course is also right in the historic Saratoga Springs.

For the intimate part, we are capping the event with 150 people to enable the participants to build relationships and foster stronger network with others.  This event will be a fun learning experience. Please register today to join us in this exciting event and take advantage of the early bird rate, which will end soon.
